Regardless of race, age, socioeconomic status, or education, we all have the potential to become entrepreneurs. When we choose to be purposeful, creative, and dynamic leaders of our own lives, we strengthen our relationships, increase our happiness, and enhance our ability to make a difference in our families, churches, workplaces, communities, and the world.
“Entrepreneurship begins with an idea and ends with impact.”
An entrepreneur is an individual who undertakes the creation, organization, and ownership of a business. He or she accepts the risks and responsibilities of business ownership to gain the profit and personal satisfaction. Entrepreneurs don’t work for their business, their business works for them. Entrepreneurs are people who do things that make a difference. They create, build and are at the heart of change in society. There are four ways to go into business for yourself to evoke this change:
- Start from scratch
- Buy an existing business
- Network marketing
Entrepreneurship is a vehicle to create a better story; one that includes a life of fulfillment, doing something you’re passionate about; one that creates change and affects those around you in a positive way. Entrepreneurship will inevitably have difficulties and even some failures. Only time will tell what will become of you and your business but with the right effort, the right attitude, and the right tools, your business will be MORE.
